How difficult is this ride?
This is a MotoDiscovery Road Tour Light Adventure. It’s paved all the way and suitable for any experienced motorcycle touring enthusiast.

Is it safe?
Yes. Taking into consideration the usual and understandable risks of travel, from start to finish we consider this to be a tour without any security or safety concerns.
For all international tours we recommend that everyone take advantage of the State Department’s Smart Travellers Program. The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
Is this suitable for a passenger?
Yes. You definitely want to share this with your favorite riding partner. The exceptional accommodations, rich history and magic of Turkey makes for a very romantic riding holiday.
How big are the groups?
As with any MotoDiscovery tour, count on the service to be the best. Groups are limited to 12 people and traditionally run small permitting a more relaxed pace and quality touring experience.
Do I need a visa?
A passport is required. Yes you will need a visa, however it is easily obtained on line and can be accomplished right before your arrival. A reasonable fee is applied.
Can you help me if we want to come in early or stay a little longer?
Most choose to arrive early to take in the extensive offerings of Istanbul. Some even choose to make this a family event and arrange for a few nights on the Mediterranean on a gullet! Whatever you need while in Turkey, you can count on us to facilitate.
Tell me about the staff?
The best. MotoDiscovery has enjoyed a long friendship and strong relationship with on the ground providers, including Kazim Uzunoglu. “Kaz” is an authorized tour guide with extensive knowledge of the region and a passion for sharing all things Turkey, past and present. A support van accompanies the tour to carry luggage and manage any unforeseen mechanical needs.
What about the food?
As is the usual MotoDiscovery policy we encourage ordering from an open menu and enjoy sharing with you a great dining experience. You won’t be disappointed. Those with special dietary requirements can count on our cooperation and satisfaction.
Can MotoDiscovery design a private tour just for me and my friends?
The Turkey Fantasy Tour is a great model for us to build you a private touring experience, just for you and your friends. A non motorcycling family activity prior to or after the ride can be custom designed just for you. Contact MotoDiscovery for consultation.
